AP#4 von Plehve
Previously PLEVE. Wenzel von Plehve was one of very few German officers who had pledged their exclusive allegiance to the Russian Tsar. As commander of Fifth Army, he was operating in Galicia during the first months of the war and performed efficiently against the Austro-Hungarian Armies. I have restricted the event accordingly, particularly to avoid having von Plehve popping over on the battles of the East Prussian theatre, where the personnalities of the real commanders, Samsonov and von Rennenkampf, were determining factors in the historical turn of events - as it is reproduced through the Tannenberg War Plan rule and the "Encirclement" card.
